- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from UNC-Chapel Hill
- Master Career Counselor (MCC) awarded from the National Career Development Association (NCDA) for her years of experience and education. In fact, she has exceeded both their educational and experience requirements.

With all her training and experience, she helps others to explore their career goals and come up with a viable plan for changing their career direction; she them assists them to take action to implement this plan. She keeps current with the latest approaches through frequent continuing education, which is absolutely critical in this fast changing world of work.
Her interests include the therapeutic use of animals, and she owns two registered "therapy dogs" that she takes to nursing homes and schools. In her private practice the dogs are sometimes invited to participate, with client permission, often helping clients realize that life can be playful and fun during the most stressful of times.
Over the years, Dr. Sain has helped hundreds and hundreds of individuals to redesign their career path and have a better understanding of how to remain employable. What is just as important as all her impressive education and credentials is that she truly cares about her clients and customizes her career counseling approach for each one. Her love of what she does comes through in each and every session, and she wants her clients to experience the same love for their work as she has for hers.
